First Weeks Goals

I have started this blog to make myself more accountable for my weightloss and fitness journey.

I am going to set out weekly goals and update them by the end of the week.

I will also set out some longer term goals.

This weeks goals:

Monday morning: Do week 5 day 1 of C25K
Monday night: Do my 'Nathan' work out at the gym

Tuesday morning: Sleep in
Tuesday night: Weights or Kimax

Wednesday morning: Week 5 day 2 of C25K
Wednesday night: 'Nathan' work out at gym

Thursday morning: Sleep in
Thursday night: Spin

Friday morning: Spin
Friday night: weight training

Saturday: Week 5 day 3 of C25K - 20 min run  followed by Kettlebell Class

Sunday: 5k walk (no running allowed) or 8k easy bike ride if it is raining.

As I have full access to the gym I don't have any excuses for not doing my runs.  The most important part of the above training is getting my C25K runs in, kettle bell class and at least one spin, but I would still like to be able to absolutely smash a week at the gym.  I feel I need to work a lot harder than what I have been doing.

In regards to my nutrition, I need to ensure I eat less and not pig out on chips and chocolates.  Tomorrow will be my first weigh in day.  I will be back to update my statistics.

My longer term goals:
  •  By the end of April I want to be running 30 minutes without stopping.
  • Run 5k at end of April, even if I have to walk some of it. I did Women's 5k in March in 45 minutes and want to be able to do the 5k in the same or less time.
  • Loose at least 0.5 kilos per week and keep it off
  • Get below 85 kilos and keep on going down for the first time in years.  85kilos is the mysterious number that has been my sticking point in the past.
  • Attempt the Launceston 10 and complete in under 1hr 30 minutes (June 19), by then I am aiming to be able to run at least 5k without stopping.
  • If I can accomplish the Launceston 10 I will go on and attempt the Gold Coast 10k at the beginning of July (no half or full marathons)
